On the afternoon of February 13, 2015, the 2014 "Charm of Changzhen" Summary and Commendation Ceremony was held in the company's conference room. The company's advisors, department heads, and representatives of outstanding contributors from various departments attended the meeting. Firstly, the editor-in-chief of "Charm of Changzhen" summarized the work done over the past year. A total of 18 issues were published, with over 400 articles revised and edited. With its precise positioning, flexible publishing style, and exquisite printing quality, "Charm of Changzhen" has won praise from readers and leaders at all levels. It has played a positive role in the accumulation and promotion of the company's culture through various channels and carriers. Such achievements could not have been made without the support and help of all staff members towards "Charm of Changzhen". In 2015, "Charm of Changzhen" will continue to improve with the joint efforts of all colleagues. It is also hoped that various departments can expand their cooperation with the editorial office, enhance cooperation space, accumulate resources, broaden the author pool, and make "Charm of Changzhen" even more attractive and excellent, playing an even more positive role.
Subsequently, the meeting commended the Safety, Energy Conservation, and Environmental Protection Department, Production Department, Engineering Technology Center, and ten individuals including Yang Dongchao and Wang Miaozhong for their outstanding contributions in 2015. Encouragement awards were presented to fourteen comrades including Shi Lixia, Wen Huayan, and Nie Qingyou, thanking them for their contributions to "Charm of Changzhen" in 2014 and expecting continued strong support in 2015.
Finally, the advisor of "Charm of Changzhen" put forward several hopes and requirements for the work of the editorial office in 2015: First, to strive for excellence and do a good job in the publication and other work of "Charm of Changzhen"; Second, to strengthen system construction and standardize various work; Third, to strengthen work style construction and establish a good image for the editorial office. He pointed out that although the editorial office has made some achievements over the past year, there is still a big gap compared with the requirements of leaders, and there are still some problems in our work. One is that the quality of the journal needs to be further improved. Although "Charm of Changzhen" has made significant progress through unremitting efforts, there are still gaps in both the content of the publication and the experience in running the journal, and there are many areas for improvement. The second is that the training and guidance for the correspondent team are insufficient, and sometimes the quality of the submitted articles is not high. These problems need to be seriously addressed and overcome in future work.
Immediately afterwards, the participants expressed their opinions and suggestions, including effective and feasible suggestions on expanding the author team and article formats. We firmly believe that with the joint efforts of all staff members, we will gather wisdom and strength, work together, and "Charm of Changzhen" will radiate a new brilliance, becoming a powerful cultural business card for the company!
