On July 21st, our company held the launch ceremony and mobilization meeting for the 2015 Annual All-Staff Skills Competition in the auditorium.
The purpose of this meeting is to clarify the key work content that our company will focus on in the second half of the year, so that all cadres and employees can understand the current situation, attach importance to it conceptually, actively participate in it as owners, and put it into action. Although we have been conducting skills competitions in recent years, the results have not been significant, with most of them being carried out in a task-oriented manner, just for the sake of the activity itself. This year, we must focus on achieving results, changing this previous situation, and making it a regular annual event. Skills competitions have become a necessity for both international and domestic economic development, as well as for the strategic development of the company itself. They are also a requirement for individuals to establish themselves in their positions and for their own career development. Without solid job skills, one cannot adapt to changes in new things and cannot survive in the competitive environment of rapid development and transformation in the future.
Looking at the future development of our company from the perspective of international and domestic economic trends, if a company wants to survive and develop, it must continuously adapt to the global competitive environment through innovation. To innovate, it must rely on the skills of its employees, which is the most basic element guarantee. The company has already clarified its five-year strategic plan, and to implement it, it must rely on the skills of every employee. Whether in management positions, functional positions, or production line positions, without solid work skills, not only can individual performance not be improved, but the company's strategic goals and tasks will also be unattainable. At the same time, by involving and showcasing the skills of all staff, it can also serve as a basis for talent selection and scientific income distribution. Moreover, through skills competitions, more practical training needs can be identified. In the past, our training was conducted haphazardly without a systematic approach, because we did not know what was lacking or how to make up for it. Through this activity, the relevance and systematicness of training will be enhanced.
Without solid job skills, one cannot adapt to changes in new things and cannot survive in the competitive environment of rapid development and transformation in the future. We hope that through this activity, everyone will participate, compete together, learn together, and improve together, so that the learning motivation and sense of crisis among our company's cadres and employees will be even stronger after this event.
