From July 11th to July 13th, the company's semi-annual performance review and reflection meeting was held grandly at the Lanxi Century Dynasty Hotel. The meeting was presided over by the company's general manager, and key personnel from various departments of the company attended. On the afternoon of July 11th, each department summarized and reported on the completion of their target tasks for the first half of 2014. On July 12th, all participants discussed the action plans for the second half of 2014 proposed by the eight departments. In the afternoon of the 12th, each department, based on the issues raised during the discussion, determined their departmental action plans for the second half of the year and identified areas for improvement.

We were honored to have Deputy Director Lu Junhua from the Yuyao Economy and Information Technology Bureau attend the meeting. Director Lu first affirmed the company's operational achievements for the first half of the year, summarizing Changzhen's semi-annual performance as having "reasonable growth and good development." During the period of capacity release after large-scale investment, production increased by 17%. Although there is still a gap compared to industry benchmarks, this growth rate is reasonable. The "good development" is manifested in the gradual upgrading of the company's processes, production methods, and customers, with labor productivity improving and energy and material consumption decreasing, which are the results pursued by the company.

Director Lu stated that although Changzhen has made some improvements in management, there is a lack of breakthroughs. He summarized three deficiencies in Changzhen's management: firstly, insufficient information communication and handling capabilities, with deficiencies in transmission channels, speed, and response capabilities; secondly, a lack of data refinement and cross-departmental utilization; and thirdly, a lack of integration in the management system.

He put forward five opinions and suggestions for the company's work in the second half of the year: firstly, to strike a balance between risk and development; secondly, to strike a balance between strategy and details; thirdly, to grasp the balance between improving labor productivity and employee welfare; fourthly, to handle the relationship between individuals and teams; and fifthly, to handle the relationship between innovation and system execution.

Subsequently, the general manager delivered an important speech. He first affirmed the company's work achievements in the first half of the year and expressed gratitude to all employees for their efforts. After briefly analyzing the company's strengths and weaknesses in the current socio-economic environment, he communicated and discussed the following points with all participants: firstly, to accurately position the company's current development stage as the initial stage of industry development; secondly, under the premise of current focus and high concentration, to fundamentally solve the current situation of high production costs through continuous innovation in management processes, processing methods, and technological processes; thirdly, human resources, energy, safety, and environmental protection costs are increasing, with higher and higher costs and these resources becoming increasingly scarce, which will become the norm; fourthly, during the transformation, the company must pay attention to systematicness, avoiding shortcomings in management ideas and disconnects in production, technology, and marketing对接; fifthly, the large investments have not yet fully played their intended role. Although the working environment, product quality, and production systematicness have been strengthened, overall expenses have not significantly decreased, and costs remain high. Sixthly, based on the positioning of the industry's initial stage and innovation as the top priority, corporate culture construction should also be placed in an important position. Seventhly, under the current situation, the company needs to quickly change its methods and concepts, which requires increasing learning efforts to integrate theory into actual production. Eighthly, a lot of data has been accumulated in production and management, but the ability to analyze and reference this data is slightly lacking. Data should be centralized and summarized, and ultimately subdivided and screened to provide a basis for decision-making.

The meeting has ended, but Changzhen's journey continues. With the care and support of the higher-level party committee and government, as well as the hard work of our cadres and employees, as long as we unite and fulfill our duties diligently, we will surely achieve brilliant results.
