Our company's "Facing the New Normal, Proactively Adapting, Introducing, and Aligning with Internal and External Demands, and Meeting Stakeholder Needs through 'Platform-based Management' and 'Integration of Informatization and Industrialization'" pledge conference was successfully held in the company auditorium on the afternoon of February 18th. The general manager, Song Changhong, deputy general manager, Guo Shumei, department heads, and all employees attended the conference.
The conference began with the 2015 annual performance review presentations by middle-level management cadres. In order to comprehensively and objectively review the work performance of the company's cadres in 2015, identify problems encountered in the work process, summarize experiences and lessons learned, and provide a more comprehensive and effective evaluation of the company's management, four middle-level cadres, represented by Chen Chuanzhong, Ren Jinlong, Luo Gaosheng, and Chen Yu, presented their 2015 work performance reviews. They carefully reported on their individual work performance in 2015, shortcomings, as well as their work plans and ideas for 2016.
During the conference, all cadres and employees also participated in a solemn oath-taking ceremony, pledging to continue to carry forward the spirit of innovation, dedication, and professionalism of the Changzhen people, and to work together towards the company's common goals. At the same time, the main responsible persons of each department signed responsibility agreements for safety production, energy conservation and emission reduction, as well as integrity construction, to clarify the safety production responsibilities of each department and enhance the safety awareness of all employees.
At this pledge conference, General Manager Song Changhong delivered an important speech. He emphasized that this was a motivational meeting to inspire enthusiasm and drive forward, a meeting to set goals and clarify responsibilities, and a mobilization meeting to unite forces and set sail again. The company should further understand the situation, refocus, identify weaknesses, innovate, be spirited, seize opportunities, and work diligently to ensure the smooth completion of various tasks and goals. He then pointed out that 2016 was the second year of the implementation of the company's second five-year strategic plan and the starting year of the company's platform-based management operation. With a new starting point, new tasks and challenges await. The company has formulated its strategic plan and basic strategic ideas for 2016: all work should revolve around stakeholder satisfaction on the same service platform, and all positions should exist fundamentally to create value for stakeholders.
Secondly, the general manager conducted a comprehensive analysis of the company's strengths and weaknesses compared to competitors in the industry. He stated that the company currently has four advantages in the copper alloy field: firstly, a clear strategic positioning, focusing on professionalism, always committed to specializing and refining in the copper alloy field, and the company's operations are fully in line with national industrial policy orientation; secondly, through the implementation of the Changzhen management model framed by the excellent performance model, the company has better management concepts and methods in meeting stakeholder needs; thirdly, the company's unique corporate culture led by party building has created a diligent, pragmatic, loyal, and stable manufacturing team; fourthly, the company is actively preparing for its share reform and listing, getting closer to achieving the goal of becoming a joint-stock enterprise, laying the foundation for the company's sustainable development.
While recognizing the advantages, the general manager also emphasized that these so-called advantages of our company are only temporary among peers, and only by clearly recognizing our own shortcomings can we establish ourselves in the new round of competition. Subsequently, the general manager analyzed the company's current disadvantages from the macro environment, economic situation, and industry status faced by the enterprise: the company's market recognition and contracting capacity are relatively low; the company's social and industry status, product core competitiveness, technological research and development capabilities, innovation, brand awareness, etc., are significantly disadvantaged compared to peers; from an internal management perspective, our management concepts and methods are quite backward.
To leverage advantages, improve disadvantages, and successfully achieve the established strategic goals, the general manager pointed out that all employees of the company must adhere to the established strategic direction, namely, to meet stakeholder needs as the foothold of all work, proactively introduce, adapt to, and align with internal and external demands, and use "integration of informatization and industrialization" and platform-based management as the management means and methods to solve all problems, work diligently, and solidly push forward various tasks. At the same time, in the next step of work, we must: first, unify the ideas and concepts of cadres and employees; second, carry out all work using "integration of informatization and industrialization" and "platform-based management" as the means and methods; third, dig deep into the connotations, and make breakthroughs and improvements in essential safety, energy conservation, environmental protection, and quality work; fourth, break the current situation and accelerate the building of a manufacturing team with a craftsmanship spirit; fifth, always take key work items as the breakthrough point and deeply promote the implementation of the excellent performance model; sixth, always insist on strengthening learning ability to enhance innovation ability; seventh, constantly strengthen integrity construction.
Finally, the general manager said that the new year has entered a brand-new stage of transformation and development.
