Recently, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) and the National Standards Commission (NSC) announced the list of winners of the 2016 China Standard Innovation Contribution Award. The "GB29137-2012 Energy Consumption Limit per Unit Product for Copper and Copper Alloy Wires", which was jointly developed by Ningbo Changzhen Copper Co., Ltd. and other enterprises, won the third prize.

The China Standard Innovation Contribution Award is the highest honor in the field of standardization in China, organized by AQSIQ and NSC with the approval of the State Council.

It is understood that the award-winning individuals and units were recommended by relevant departments of the State Council, industry associations, and other relevant parties. The recommendations were then reviewed by the China Standardization Expert Committee, and the results were published on the official website of the National Standards Commission for public comment. After handling any objections raised during the public comment period by the Office of the Review Committee, the final winners were approved by the Leading Group of the China Standard Innovation Contribution Award.
