In order to fully mobilize the innovative elements of the enterprise and promote "rejuvenating the enterprise through science and technology", with the care and support of the municipal and town-level science and technology associations, Changzhen Copper held the Founding Conference and the First Member Congress of the Science and Technology Association of Ningbo Changzhen Copper Co., Ltd. on March 25, 2017. Han Hangcheng, Deputy Secretary of the Simen Town Party Committee and Chairman of the Simen Town Science and Technology Association, Lu Zhexue, Vice Chairman of the Yuyao Science and Technology Association, Qiu Xuejun, Director of the Yuyao Science and Technology Association, Yu Zhixin, Secretary-General of the Simen Town Science and Technology Association, and Song Changhong, Secretary of the Party Branch and General Manager of Changzhen Copper, as well as 52 members of the company attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Secretary-General Yu Zhixin read out the approval document from the Simen Town Science and Technology Association agreeing to the establishment of the Changzhen Copper Science and Technology Association. General Manager Song Changhong delivered an opening speech. Through a vote by the members of the science and technology association present at the meeting, Comrade Guo Shumei was elected as the Chairman of the Changzhen Copper Science and Technology Association, Comrades Fu Zhixiang and Huang Teng as Vice Chairmen, Comrade Li Hailong as Secretary-General, and Comrade Shi Lixia as Deputy Secretary-General. At the same time, after collective deliberation by the committee, Comrade Song Changhong, Secretary of the Party Branch and General Manager of the company, was appointed as the Honorary Chairman of the company's science and technology association.

Subsequently, the newly elected Chairman of the Science and Technology Association, Guo Shumei, made a pledge speech to the congress and briefly introduced the company's technological achievements in recent years as well as the next work goals and plans. She stated that the enterprise science and technology association will devote itself to production and scientific and technological work with enthusiasm, continuously forge ahead, and comprehensively improve the level of the company's scientific and technological work.

Finally, Qiu Xuejun, Director of the Yuyao Science and Technology Association, and Han Hangcheng, Chairman of the Simen Town Science and Technology Association, delivered important speeches. They both congratulated Changzhen Copper on the establishment of its science and technology association and hoped that Changzhen Copper would vigorously strengthen the construction of the enterprise science and technology association, fully create an environment for scientific and technological innovation, and fully play the important role of the enterprise science and technology association in promoting scientific and technological progress, enhancing scientific literacy, gathering scientific and technological talents, stimulating creative vitality, and promoting an innovative culture, in order to effectively contribute wisdom and strength to the strategy of rejuvenating the enterprise through science and technology and strengthening the enterprise with talents.

This congress established the enterprise science and technology association of Ningbo Changzhen Copper Co., Ltd., elected the leadership of the science and technology association, and clarified the direction of the enterprise science and technology association's next steps.
