On the afternoon of April 28th, Zhejiang Province celebrated International Workers' Day and held a grand ceremony to honor model workers and advanced individuals at the Provincial People's Congress Hall. Luo Gaosheng, Deputy Manager of the Equipment Engineering Department at the Engineering Technology Center of Ningbo Changzhen Copper Co., Ltd., was awarded the Zhejiang Province May 1st Labor Medal and was recognized at the ceremony.

Luo Gaosheng is a recipient of the Ningbo May 1st Labor Medal, a leader in the construction of "Five-Type Teams" focusing on skills in Ningbo, a model skilled worker among migrant workers in the second session of Yuyao City, and a master of worker innovation in Yuyao City. Since joining the company in 2004, he has been working in positions related to production equipment manufacturing and mechatronics management. He is conscientious and dedicated to his job, diligent and courageous in innovation, forge ahead with determination, efficient and high-quality in his work, and persistently pursues progress. He has made extraordinary achievements in his ordinary position.

Not only has Luo Gaosheng successfully applied the PLC programmable control technology he learned from books to the design and production of the company's semi-automatic chamfering machine for bar materials, but he has also actively innovated and devoted himself to research in his spare time amidst the company's transformation and upgrading in recent years, vigorously implementing a strategy of replacing human labor with machines. He has successively applied for patents for various innovation achievements, including over 20 utility and invention patents led by him, such as the automatic copper wire production line, the automatic copper wire collection and aggregation line, the automatic stirring and mixing device, and the smelting device with automatic stirring and mixing, among others. These innovations have cumulatively generated over RMB 10 million in economic benefits for the company.
