At the beginning of 2020, an outbreak of COVID-19 suddenly struck Jingchu land and spread across the country, changing our production and living conditions. Under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping at its core, 1.4 billion Chinese people united as one and controlled the epidemic within the shortest time possible, with production and living gradually returning to normal.
 

At the beginning of the outbreak, the Secretariat of the China Strategic Alliance for Technological Innovation in Renewable Resources Industry promptly issued an initiative to all member units and expert committee units of the alliance, calling on its members to overcome difficulties and contribute to the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic.A large number of alliance member units (groups) took prompt actions. According to incomplete statistics, a total of 38 alliance member units (groups) donated over RMB 100 million in cash and emergency-purchased epidemic prevention materials such as masks, goggles, and disinfectants, which were used in the frontline of epidemic prevention and control both in their home bases and Wuhan, making positive contributions to fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.To pay tribute to the anti-epidemic pioneers and remember their missions and responsibilities, the China Recycling Development Strategic Alliance of Industrial Technology Innovation decided to commend 38 member units that made outstanding contributions in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. A grand award ceremony was held during the opening ceremony of the 2020 Solid Waste Resource Utilization Industry Innovation-Driven High-Quality Development Summit and Alliance Annual Meeting.
