2020 China Copper Processing Industry Annual Conference

On September 3, the 2020 China Copper Processing Industry Annual Conference and the High-Quality Development Conference of China's Copper Industry (Tongling), co-hosted by the China Nonferrous Metals Processing Industry Association, the Tongling Municipal People's Government of Anhui Province, and Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Holding Co., Ltd., was grandly held in Tongling, Anhui Province. A total of more than 500 copper processing related enterprises and over 1,100 people attended this grand event, including more than 450 people at or above the level of vice-general manager.

Conference scene

The conference consists of seven parts: an opening ceremony, keynote speeches, a forum for deans of materials science institutes and research institutes from Chinese copper-related universities, a forum on the copper processing market and capital, a forum on the development of copper plate, strip, and foil industries, a forum on the development of copper tube, rod, wire, and special processing industries, and on-site visits. During this period, it also includes activities such as the commendation of outstanding figures in China's copper tube industry and the presentation of plaques to the top ten enterprises in China’s copper rod (profile) material industry in 2019 (the third session).

The opening ceremony was presided over by Shunke Fan, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and chairman of the China Nonferrous Metals Processing Industry Association.

The conference, focusing on improving the industrial development environment, building a collaborative innovation ecosystem, integrating into new infrastructure, and expanding copper applications, proceeds through forms such as investment environment promotion of Tongling City, signing ceremonies, excellence awards, thematic reports, and dean forums. It delves into the high-quality development path of China's copper processing industry, creating new opportunities amid crises and opening up new prospects in changing situations, actively planning a new pattern for the development of China's copper processing industry.
